ROOL Foundation was born from a deep and unwavering desire to serve: to see the overlooked, uplift the underserved, and pour unconditional love into communities that need it most. We were created from a place of compassion, healing, and purpose. From the very beginning, the vision was clear: build a foundation where love is not only spoken but demonstrated through outreach, inclusion, advocacy, and direct service.

Meet Our President
Shamia Gillon, MBA
President of ROOL Foundation, where she leads with a heart for service and a steady commitment to turning love into action. Guided by the belief that communities grow stronger when we pour into one another, she helps steer a mission that uplifts seniors, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, families affected by dementia, neighbors experiencing homelessness, and students working toward a brighter future.
Bringing together her business education and genuine compassion, Shamia ensures that every program, event, grant, and scholarship at ROOL Foundation is carried out with purpose, integrity, and care. From the Angel Lotus Grant to the Leroy Sampson Scholarship, each initiative she leads rests on one simple promise: every person deserves to be seen, valued, and loved.

Georgiana Smith, MHA
Georgiana Smith, MHA, serves as Vice President of ROOL Foundation, where she brings warmth, vision, and a deep commitment to the people this mission exists to serve. She believes that love is most powerful when it is put into action, and she works alongside the foundation's leadership to make sure that seniors, individuals with disabilities, families facing dementia, neighbors experiencing homelessness, and students feel supported and never overlooked. With her background in health administration and her heart for community, Georgiana helps ensure that ROOL Foundation's programs, outreach, and initiatives are thoughtful, well organized, and rooted in genuine care. Her leadership reflects the foundation's promise to release love into every community it touches.
